Hamilton a training centre for laparoscopic surgery
The Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES) FLS Test Centre Review Committee has approved the application of CMAS as a FLS Test Centre under the direction of Dr. Mehran Anvari.

CMAS receives Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery Certification
Hamilton is now officially a site to test and train laparoscopic surgeons. It’s expected around 100 surgeons a year will come to Hamilton from all over Canada to be tested at the Centre for Minimal Access Surgery (CMAS), which will be the 4th testing centre in Canada.
