Dr. Nenshi is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at McMaster University in the Division of General Surgery. She completed her medical degree at the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine at McMaster University. She then went on to complete a Master’s in Clinical Epidemiology & Biostatistics in 2009, her General Surgery Residency in 2011, the Royal College Clinician Investigator Program in 2011, a Minimally Invasive Surgery Fellowship in 2012, as well as a Surgical Oncology Fellowship in 2014 at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Nenshi’s area of interest is acute care surgery; she is the Director of Acute Care Surgery at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton. Dr. Nenshi is currently the co-chair of the city-wide Credentials committee, a Learning Director for the Undergraduate Medical Program at McMaster University, and she is also a member of the Royal College Surgical Foundations Competency Committee. She is involved in local and national research in the field of acute care surgery, as well as research in the field of surgical leadership education.
