On day one, attendees will be in the anatomy lab at McMaster University to review the relevant human anatomy before proceeding to practice insertions on human cadavers in the afternoon.  On day two, attendees will continue to practice insertions in the wet lab, hosted by the Centre for Minimal Access Surgery (CMAS).

Target Audience

  • Practicing nephrologists, radiologists, surgeons, and  nurses interested in setting up a non-surgical PD catheter insertion program.  Due to the hands-on nature of this program, the maximum group size will be limited to four (4) physicians and one (1) nurse per instructor.
