Unrestricted educational grants are sources of revenue provided to physician organizations to support the development of CPD activities or materials without any conditions or influence from the donor regarding the design, development, delivery and content of the activities or material.

CMAS continues to seek support from various companies in order to help with education initiatives. See below our levels of annual Corporate Sponsorship.

Platinum - $100,000+
Gold - $50,000 +
Silver - $25,000 +
Bronze - $10,000 +

The corporate sponsorship will provide you with the following marketing exhibitions

access to all courses and the ability to demonstrate relevant products during courses in the dry and wet lab
sponsor recognition on wall outside CMAS skills lab
recognition on all marketing materials for CME accredited courses/conferences, including, but not exclusive to:
- save the dates
- e-blasts
- fax advertisements
- website
- sponsor boards on display at each course/conference
- reduced rates to host an industry educational event (ie: product demo launch)

Funding would be utilized to help sustain ongoing educational programs held at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton and the Centre for Minimal Access Surgery.

CMAS hosts various conferences each year. To be one of the sponsors to an educational event, the levels of sponsorship are:

Gold Sponsor – $11,000 to $25,000

Booth display and electrical outlet with first choice of location
Larger logo on website, syllabus and display board
Verbal acknowledgement during the meeting
Screen acknowledgement (large)
Inclusion of up to 4 reps
